India: St Raphael Hospice

India has the world’s largest TB burden with an estimated 2 million new cases every year – that’s 26% of new TB cases worldwide.

In 2009 I travelled to India on assignment for Target TB to document the work of the St Raphael Hospice in Dheradhun. Raphael’s in patient facility provides high quality medical support and care to TB patients from mountainous rural communities in Uttarakhand State.
