EveryChild: Moldova – Foster care

In Moldova a quarter of the population lives on less than $2 a day. Poverty, migration, unemployment and poor housing have weakened the ability of some families to care for their children. EveryChild helps children grow up in safe and loving families. In Moldova, EveryChild supports vulnerable families and works towards reuniting families who have been separated.

Further, EveryChild supports the diversification of foster care services; develops programmes and offers services aimed at strengthening good parenting to enable families to provide appropriate care and protection to their children.
